This is like an AA meeting!
    I’ll admit I have a problem.
But, always wanted a Land Cruiser & I recently found one with a rear locker and she is sexy!

I miss the 98 4Runner. It was the base 3rz 5spd with factory 16" steelies (4.56 gearing). Never should have SASd her.

Exactly 2, and still have both of them!

    The 4R is a 2014, and Tundra is 2020.

I appreciate the follow good sir! We'll see how this project goes, I am gonna just fix all that is broken for now. Eventually, I would love to drop a V8 or Supercharged 4.0 V in this and make it a sleeper. It's not that simple but it would be fun. I chuckle at the thought of tubbing out the rear, steel wheels with some wide rear tires, maintaining the beat-ass look, and rolling around with 350 hp hahaha

Good taste! I hope you get to enjoy the Land Cruiser and Supra. Maybe you'll trailer the Supra home one day in your Land Cruiser....a girl can dream.

Probably one of the best gear builders in the country, thorough is a understatement with him. I’m installing polished 4.88s from him this weekend! I’m so stoked!

    • 2006 Scion xB – does this count? Indestructible. Gave it to a friend who needed a dependable vehicle at 212k miles 7 years ago. He still drives it.
    • 2012 4Runner – loved this truck. We outgrew it, and I traded it in on the Tundra at 137k miles.
    • 2015 Prius – daily commuter for a while. A perfectly dependable car, but we traded it in on a Yukon XL for my wife.
    • 2021 Tundra – my do everything vehicle. 58.8k miles and counting…
    • 2009 LX 570 – the previously mentioned Yukon XL ended up being a pain in my rear. Sold it and bought my wife a Lexus.

Heck yeah, the Scion XB counts!!! My father-in-law had one a few years back, and f'n drove that thing into the ground. Haha the engine was burning oil and was outside the extended service campaign milage. It was burning a quart of oil a week, then compression got low, and oil clogged the catalytic converter. As a 12-year Toyota tech, I had never seen a catalytic converter clog up with burnt oil hahaha My father-in-law was so proud of himself haha

Way to spoil the Mrs. with the LX 570! I plan to do the same in the future!

I will keep that in mind. I have rebuilt a few myself but wouldn't mind getting my Tundra a rear locker and putting the installation in the hands of such a specialist.

New addition - helped youngest son purchase 2004 celica gt. Currently replacing a worn out rusted rear suspension, but overall good shape and good running. Go Toyota!
