    I used to travel occasionally to the Denver area with one of my jobs. I recall one beautiful summer day with temps about 90 and super low humidity taking a lunchtime stroll to enjoy the weather.

    A cyclist rolls up next to me at a light and starts bitching about how hot it was. I looked at him like he had an eye in the middle of his forehead. At home in OK it was 90 at midnight with 70% humidity.

    People in Denver and San Diego that complain about the weather should be put before a firing squad without a trial.

    I'm riding my bicycle along the Silver Strand ~ a bike path with the ocean on one side and the bay on the other.
    It's the end of July and we have a nice breeze blowing in off the ocean ~ it's quite comfortable, I think. The air temp was likely in the mid/high 70* range.
    A woman riding with us says;
    "I'm cold!"
    She's originally from Michigan and I'm a San Diego native ~ I don't have a clue what "cold" is. I've lived here all my life.
    I turned to her and said;
    "I'll call you when it gets cold."

    Amazin' . . .

    Somehow it doesn't make being near 120 alot any less appalling.
