I worked a hospital kitchen when I was younger. Freezer to grill enough times in a day can give you the worst heat exhaustion.

We’ve got an entire building with no chilled water, for another month or so. Hahahaha today a dead rabbit was found on the 3rd floor, supposedly it was pretty ripe. Best part is; sunny mechanical didn’t order all the coils when they should have and they won’t be done when school starts…… should be interesting

I lived in Hawaii in the 80's if I never go back, I'm good with that. 85 & 85% humidity 24/7 sucks.

Its miserable here in the pacific northwest. 130°+ everyday since April 1st with no foreseen cool down until late November. Don't bother moving here. Seriously stay away!

That was one reason I was keen to get out of FL, SC actually gets 4 seasons a year - which is nice!
It’s been a lovely day for us in the upstate today, most uncharacteristic. Overcast, lowish humidity and maxed out at 82. I’ll take it, won’t be so pleasant once those Gulf breezes start throwing the Caribbean weather our way.

Fucking hot. 106. 84 and climbing downstairs. AC guy said the condenser on our unit went out last night and isn't sure if he can get to it today because it's just him. I told him I can lift shit for him. He did say it was fortunate I turned it off and didn't smoke the whole unit... Looks like I'm out around $2500 right now. We'll see what other bad news I get when he comes back.

I did drive 100 miles and picked up the new condenser so we don't have to wait on parts...

I gave up on the backyard.
I was watering it 2 or 3 times a week and it still did this.
Shit clay soil sucks in the summer.
I used to try to fill the cracks with sand but it was a waste of time.
Still watering the front yard but it is dying out too.

We had ours replaced 2 years ago.
Dramatically helped with the electric bill.
Blows more air and runs much less than the old one did.

Ours is 10 years old so it's time. I don't wanna wait for a surprise one hot day/night when it goes and prices have gone up so high I just have to sit here with misters and swamp fans. If it ever starts leaking freon I'll be screwed as it's R22

10 year old Trane, I believe. It’s a big one. I thought that’s what I picked up from the AC wholesalers, a new condenser.
