As I am mounting my gun around this area I've noticed the center console trim is a bit off. The only work was done around here was when my Katzkin seats were done few weeks back and that's about it. No idea how this happened? I tried pushing it back but won't budge? Maybe a clip is broken or it needs to be reset? I am not good at trims and stuff :) My 5000 miles appointment is coming soon so I let the dealer deal with it?

It's just not seated properly. Remove it completely and then push it down evenly.

I would remove the shifter piece and check the screw right there where the 2 pieces of console connect. Something does not look right pushing that one section out

Interesting.... My 2021 has the exact same gap in the trim. I've been meaning to pull all the trim off and figure it out, but going to wait for warmer weather.

I will take it in soon for maintenance when I get 5000 miles and I will ask them to rectify. Will keep you updated. I think the clip missed to go in the right spot.

Should snap back in place, that piece comes off easily. If you had heated/vented inserts installed with the Katzkin’s the installer probably had a simple goof putting it back on.

Same on my 2020. I tried to fix it for 5 minutes one day and gave up. I think I’d need to break it down some to refit it.

My 21 was like that from new. There were reports of this issue prior to me buying it so I used that to my advantage. I showed the dealer and they offered to replace the console, but said the new one will probably be the same, so they gave me one of the add on warranties for free.
I am known for being OCD about my vehicles and even though I know this is there, it does not does not squeak or draw attention so it does not bother me too much.

Now that's interesting. I wonder why that is? I am very OCD and I can't sleep :) But will be nice if I can get this fixed :)

So that will be a bad install of the screw? I need to open it up and take a look at to I guess?

That picture shows how it should be installed. I was identifying which screw I was referring to in an earlier post, sorry for the confusion
