I like the chrome on my Cement. I have dark tint, black tailgate logo, black peragon cover, and soon to be black exhaust tips, and I'm gonna black the badges. But the grille and bumper will stay chrome.

I like my truck to be well balanced = with some chrome but not over doing it. The look will live on and it won't be a fad. But the total chrome or blackout look is not for me.

I'm not a big fan of chrome, I'd rather just have flat or satin black painted bumpers and no extra chrome accents.

How you feel about people that hate chrome is how I feel about people that have fender flares on stock trucks.

Personally think that chrome looks cheap and less tough than colormatched. I am biased.

Chrome looks good on older gen vehicles not on the current vehicles I would say this if I would go chrome on my tundra I would go all out and make it look nice bit I went with everything color match exterior and interior

I’m a fan of solid steel chrome plated bumpers on trucks. I am not a fan of plastic chrome or so much chrome on the face of a truck that it looks like a kid in dental headgear.

So if the dogs are the Reindeer and the Tundra is the sleigh... then the bed must be filled with Tundra parts for all the good boys and girls!

Alternatively you walk the dogs in a manner that I strongly approve of.

Damn, I thought Toyotas were reliable, but if you had to resort to mop dogs gettin it home, I'm assuming nothing else in that picture was running either.

The only thing chrome on my truck is the limited badge and the wheels and I like it, it makes it stand out because EVERYONE has black wheels and blacked out everything. Chrome wheels makes the tires look more defined not blended in like the black wheels make them look, no definition just black everywhere.

My last 2 trucks were white as is my ‘17.
In the AZ desert IMHO, it’s the ONLY color to have!

If I had a garage that fit my truck I would have been seriously tempted by red as I’ve had a couple red vehicles. I can go a few days after a rain and the truck doesn’t look terrible, water spots hide well in white!

I think the OP had a valid question. I hope some of the comments about it looking like this or that are in jest as someone who has plastic chrome on and in their vehicle, it could be taken the wrong way. Yes the plastic chrome isn't really chrome, but I didn't have funds, the OK from my wife or even know-how to ask about changing it or doing it myself.

That said, I don't really care. Like what you ride and ride what you like. That's my moto for cycling and pretty much any hobby that you substitute Ride with.

And to be honest, I have yet to see a Tundra posted anywhere on this forum that I wouldn't be proud to own or ride in

White and chrome....I like that combo. The darker colors...not so much (for some odd reason).

This is my limit though. I could easily go with a nice set of black Method wheels and some different black step bars.

I would do a color matched front bumper, grill, mirror caps, door handles, etc. That's one expensive cosmetic change though...over
