So I came across a 2004 Tundra with 110k miles and plan to test drive and possibly get an inspection just to be safe.

This looks pretty good or am I missing anything?

The fact the past owner has no clue about how to buy good tires. Those look like the original tires which are some of the worst tires you can buy for your truck.

I'd probably check the manufacturing date to make sure they aren't the originals. The frame rust on that truck isn't even worthy about asking. There is none.

Looks clean from what we can see. Make sure to ask about TB and WP. You know the drill.. Ask too many questions.

Those look like newer tread design Bridgstone Duelers. The originals were different from what little I know. No way they could be original unless wheels pulled off when new.

Now those rims on the other hand while there's nothing wrong with them as a basic wheel, they look terrible but I'm sure around here OP would have no problem finding someone to help him spend money on some new ones.

Is this too much rust? Low mileage 2008 but I live in SC not used to seeing this. New England dealer. Thanks

This is ultimately a thread for Gen1 Tundras, but I'll chime in because IDGAF!

I would nope-out based on this alone .... buy a truck from NC and southbound. Stop shopping from the Virginias northward.

The first time you need to touch anything on the front end, you're gonna hafta sawzall everything off. Horrible, horrible shape.
