Anyone with a ‘25 had the fuel gauge reset to Full after being parked on a slight incline with 3/4 of a tank of fuel? (inherent issue in 22-24’s with 32ga tank)

 

Can’t say I’ve seen that issue on my 24 (my driveway is an incline) but maybe I haven’t watched close enough

my 24 (with black headliner) is much tighter than my 22…but honestly my 22 didn’t give me a single problem other than the back window door seal which I got over pretty quickly (no wind noise….mileage was 18 with 295’s and a 3” lift, no rattling and no major issues).

Ya'll laugh, but it makes 700hp at 17,500 rpm. Mated to a 14 speed hi/lo transmission it outperforms any truck before it. And gets 1.5mpg more than the outgoing model.

Look for 2025 1/2 ton Mazda Miata 4x4 to make 900 hp and 1,000 ft-lbs of torque. The truck would weigh about 3,000 lbs and carry 4,000 lbs of payload or whatever you can fit in the little trunk.

That's the wheel size, because 22 is never enough.

 

You don’t want a power tailgate, trust me. Had one on my Silverado and it was by far the dumbest feature on a truck. Froze up in winter, refused to latch randomly, would give error messages and refuse to latch when anything Mildly pressed on the inside (ex carrying mulch), dirt in the mechanism froze it shut, the list goes on.

give me a manual latch any day. IMO it’s a huge downgrade when these companies try to push that garbage on us

 

First time I saw one of these was on a Silverado the other day! What a strange thing to have in a truck! Dirt and crap is bound to get in there and screw it up.

It’s something I really appreciate about the SR5. You can still get leather-like seats and some comfort stuff while avoiding breakable nonsense. No need to a moonroof that can leak, power mirrors with sensors that can break, silly retractable running boards that can get jammed, or an auto lift gate.

My Silverado was a great truck that was bogged down by all the nonsense tacked onto it. Was probably in the shop every 2 months for 5 years for some sensor breaking or an electronic latch or motor going out. God help those people who bought the all electric Silverado
