That’s where I got my plate from. Had it shipped to my dealer and then installed. Took less than a week.

I'm soooooooo Glad I Installed my Valiha's Shields on my Tundra. They Defiantly saved my CATS last night. Last night I was our Lodge stated meeting and arrived late so I parked across the street in parking lot, first think I noticed was there no lights in the lot and it was quite dark. Well when out meeting finished and by the time i left it was about 2200. I got in my truck and when pulling out of the lot o heard a weird clunking. I went up the road a little and kept hearing a unusual vibration/clunking. so I stopped at a Walgreens and looked under truck. The back two mounting bolts had been removed and the rear plate was just hanging by the front bolts. So I zipp tied the plate to the rear mounts and drove back to the lot and called my local PD. An officer showed up in about 5 minutes to take a report while waiting i got my flashlight and searched the lot and found the bolts and nuts dumped in a corner by a fence. I guess I'm really luckily and they got scared off and didn't cut on the exhaust.
I'm now looking into security bolts just to be on the safe side.

No prints. It helps to be in the same profession and know the Chief. I just want a report and make them aware and to be on the lookout for Cat thieves.

Nothing against Tyler but for those not wanting to wait and are local to Alvin/Pearland Keiting Toyota has some plates in stock. Sorry @Classy63 i wanted yours but it was weeks out and they had some in stock.

4857D382-5522-49E7-927E-B02556D85D4A.jpgthese do come with security bolts for a total of 350 but you’ll have to buy a security bit or have them install them at the dealership. Not sure how much they charge though.

Anyone get the aluminum shield? I got the DE one because I don’t hardcore rock crawl and wanted to save weight . Anyway, I feel like it makes noises on certain bumps like a loud “pong”. I guess it’s the actual shield vibrating?. I do feel less paranoid with it on from would-be thieves. Just curious if other guys are experiencing this.

I don’t have the DE shield, so I’m not familiar with it. I did get the front and rear Valhalla Shields, though. Mine don’t vibrate or make any noises or popping sounds. They’re on there pretty tight. I had to take off the little, stock transfer case shield to get it to fit right.

Those of you who went with aftermarket cats, did you have trouble with the check engine light staying on? I couldn’t wait any longer for the OEM cats, which I’ve been told are on backorder for months. So I went with the Magnaflow aftermarket cats and Toyota OEM O2 downstream sensors.

I checked to make sure the O2 sensor are connected well and that I didn’t put the left sensor on the right side and vice-versa (not sure if it matters since they look the same but each side has its own part number). But the engine light still won’t clear. Not sure if it just takes a whole bunch of cycles to clear or if the ECU is being picky and doesn’t like the Magnaflow cats.

Anyone else have the same issue and resolve it? Or am I just going to have to wait til the OEM cats become available?

I see. Well, they were at DonMcGill at Katy . Sorry, I assumed it was DE. Just asking if anyone got any weird noises with the aluminum. No big deal. It’s better than the cats being out there bear naked.

Yep, Keith is super nice. He helped me out a lot with the 6 inch dd with resonator.
