    holy shit....

    On my commute into work today, I drove past the corpse of an individual who was trying to walk across I35 in Austin. I passed by before emergency vehicles arrived on the scene and it was horrific. It was a nasty pile of goo with blood and guts sprayed across 3 lanes of the freeway. It also looked like the individual was hit multiple times because there were bloody tire tracks and body parts all over the place. What a mess. I wont soon forget that image.

    I also need to check my truck for blood sprays....

    Damn, that is horrible. I know that area well. I grew up in Florence, so just down the road from you.

    I have a buddy who used to work for the Dallas PD. He told me about an accident he worked where a guy was crossing a main highway and got hit by an 18 wheeler. Yikes..!

    Jeez that really changes your day and I assume the day of their family.
    If their plan was an escape from this world, there has to be better ways to go about that.

    @Netmonkey Hope you're alright yourself.

    Yep.. probably some stupid UT kid protesting. Who in their right mind would try to cross I35 like that. They had to have been on drugs or drunk or something. I guess they could have jumped from the overpass, or jumped out of a car. Crazy..

    oh ya, I am good. I feel awful for the people who actually hit this guy. they are going to feel a lot of guilt and have a big cleanup on their vehicles.

    My mom ran over an old dude on Hwy 75 that told his wife good bye and walked out of Lubys and up on to the hwy in 70 mph traffic.
