You all are nuts with the horn usage. If someone is at a read light in front of me on their phone and the light turns green..I give them the 3 count. Then a simple burp of the horn takes care of the problem.

A bullet hole in a drivers door is expensive to fix….fyi.

The worst part is when they have to lay on the ground and wait for me to disconnect the horn so I can shove it up their ass.

Those are some big horns. Might have to do some pilot hole work first with your boot.

It shouldn't cost $1400 just so you can be an a-hole.
Stealth Spare Tire Delete Kit | HornBlasters
I do it for free almost daily..

It's not just the target of your inconvenience that hears that horn, it's everyone else around that has nothing to do with your tantrum.
That is the problem I have with it, I don't want to hear it..

I've used my horn maybe 4 times this year, I'm more of hi beams in your rearview mirror guy.
But I guess I've spent more on stupider stuff for my Tundra.

The loss of the spare, or having it take up space in the bed would be a bigger problem for me than getting a ticket for blasting a train horn on the road.
Knock on wood, but I've yet to use the spare on my 2014...
To each their own I suppose, enjoy..

I hate those guys... but I'm lifted so it's rarely an issue. The highs in your face at night are also a trigger for me.

I was happy it was just a .40cal bullet hole. I know someone that took 3 hits in Denver on I-25. Person was never caught.

I hit the high beam instead of honking the horn, even during the day it gets their attention.
If that doesn't work then the horn for a second.

But a train horn in that situation is ridiculous.
Why punish and irritate every driver and passenger within 100 feet just because someone got their panties in a wad?
It just screams 'look at me, look at me, I don't get enough attention'..

I have a small lift and turned the headlight adjusts down a few notches.
Now no headlights in the driver's rearview or oncoming drivers, even in compact cars.

Seems with a lot of new cars (especially new ford trucks with their 8 headlights) the low beams look like high beams until they are close.
They have no problem letting you know that they have lo beams on when you flash them.
But I do the same thing..

Damn George, congratulations on getting everyone fired up! As for the horn, be careful, especially since you aren't exactly driving around in a white Accord or Camry. :anonymous:

If you just keep it for looks, but never honk it, you technically won’t be violating any laws in Florida. But if you happen to let loose with your train horn while you’re driving, you will be breaking Florida statute 316.271(2), which states that “No horn or other warning device shall emit an unreasonable loud or harsh sound or whistle.”
