    I didn't either. I laughed.

I've seen Jeeps drag 1 ton trucks around like it's nothing.

Hell, I better get my bid in here for Moderator since @Bob hasn't wanted or felt the need for one.

Chris for Moderator of tow rigs and trailers section!

Better put me in the Off Topic section as well, since that is where I reside 98% of the time. Other 2% is whispering sweet nothings in @thumper7799 ear.

This is what was posted on the "other" site...getting no love over there...LOL

"So last 2 days i've been driving around with a ton(literally) of weight on the bed and 1/2 ton of weight on the front of my truck for snow plowing

I don't turn the truck off much when I'm in snow mode but as we all know, once you turn your truck off, the tow/haul mode deactivates. I know "forgetting" to click it back on isn't an excuse BUT wouldn't it be nice if tow-haul mode automatically activated when a certain amount of weight was added to the rear suspension? Like lets say with 1" or more of rear suspension squat the tow/haul mode automatically activates. 1" of spring compression/squat which would probably equate to 500.lbs, seems like enough compression to warrant needing the changed shift points to protect the trans"

    Funny reply that wasn't mine:

"Jeez you guys, it's just pushing a button in on the shift lever. It's not like you have to get out in the rain and lock your hubs or change a tire in bad weather, just push the button."

"It's to bad there isn't an app like in the audi/VW platforms. You just Bluetooth to the OBII port and can change all kinds of things like that, pretty cool. It's called Carstia, I'm kinda surprised there isn't one for these trucks now a days."

Another funny reply that wasn't mine:

"Talk about a first world problem. Do you not have to grab the shifter to put it into gear? Push the button before you remove your hand from the shifter. If your hauling something all the time, shouldn't putting it in T/H be as natural as putting on your seat belt?"

"You do a two day 1300 mile tow with a wife and dog in the truck and let me know how many times you stop and turn off the truck. Between, gas, rest stops, hotel, dinner, it could be 10 times in just one day."

    My response:

"Wow. I would kick my wife, kids (2 girls), and dogs in the ass if I stopped 10 times in one day. Water only, and you might be surprised at how long you can go between rest stops. I have everyone go bathroom before we leave, stop for fuel around 11-12, bathroom breaks and eat lunch. No Coke, water only. Next stop is destination. Having the cumbersome, finger stressing, mind numbing task of pushing TH/EB twice in one day. I should stop using my trigger finger just in case as well. Hey, great idea! I can have my wife depress the EB button. The day has been saved!

Not sure how I make it on a daily basis. Glad I daily drive a Lexus IS350 to pamper myself between pulls."
