While I totally understand Swansons response, but I try to know as little as possible when I’m in those stores because customers then ask me stupid questions. Haha I was in the plumbing isle of homies and some guy asked me do I know plumbing? Don’t have a clue, sorry.

No LIe.... I was at NAPA yesterday. Two dudes behind the counter, I'm at the counter one dude helping me the other guy on the phone. The guy on the phone suddenly pulls the phone away from his face to lean in to the guy helping me and asks " what trucks use the Duramax?" I was so deflated, it was the last auto supply place in town where I coulod go and actually get questions answered.

So continuing, the guy helping me just looked at him and shrugged his shoulders.

I used to pick up side jobs in the plumbing aisles. Back when the recession started to really hit and my shop wasn't getting any call volume. While my coworkers were sitting at the shop drinking beer I was at home depot strolling the aisle looking for the confused customer who stares at toilets or faucets.

"Noooooooo nono no, you don't want that Glacier Bay. It will last a year tops, get this Kohler instead, its only $30 more and will last 10 years... I'm doing a quick job a few blocks away, need a hand installing that?" Hundred bucks a day easily.

Untrue, first gen cowl is where all the water pours in to passenger footwell and pumps sand into your face if you drive a desert road with the recirc off.

Much as I'm enjoying the dogpile on Mr. Ugly... I actually DO have a serious question about this.

Does anyone actually spend a thousand bucks on a friggin' LIGHT??? I mean, it looks cool, and living out in Flyspeck, Vermont, I always need more lights (truck, car, motorcycles - hell, I even have extra lighting on my LAWN TRACTOR!), but... a thousand dollars?
