Sorry. Just saw this. Uses two bolts on trd skid plate and 2 carriage bolts in the back. I suspect a person may be able to get one back cat off of me but that is it. Seriously doubt they would mess with it.A0304882-229C-40FF-866B-338B66DC78E9.jpgB1CADA2E-EF4B-42AC-853A-D5745F29ECC7.jpg

Probably not the solution you are looking for in your case but others may find helpful; I confirmed my insurance covered Cat theft and reduced the deductible to $0. Costs me around $20 extra per year (State Farm).

I hadn't given this much thought until I joined and started seeing the multiple threads on cat theft. The Tundra does seem like an easy target.
I have access to a bunch of large pieces of galvanized expanded metal. They used to be greenhouse table tops. When the weather shifts to being consistently decent and dry, I'll explore options and difficulty level of an expanded metal solution and post any results here.
I know insurance would probably cover it, but the effort involved in building a guard might be less of a PITA than being without the truck for a few days and the uncertainty of a shop not doing the greatest job repairing it. I can count on one hand, the times I've hired someone to do something and they did a good job. So, that's always a consideration.
