Well, I'm not getting my Tundra back yet. My youngest boy pissed them off real good. Took 45 minutes going over the truck and gave them the list of whats not acceptable. They started getting a little testy. He basically said, you think I am being a dick? Wait until my Dad sees it. Then Momma Bear got wind of it and jumped in on it as well. The owner tried to say some stuff, she pulls out the pictures of what my truck used to look like and the insurance claim, shut him down right there. $18.3k in damages better be $18.3k in work done.

rain gutter rubber not seated in the tracks good
a chip in the front bumper, that was never there
fender flairs were all jacked up
no responses from the head unit
    to name a few

It does! Knowing that they caught the deficiencies and called BS with the pictures and paperwork makes me think they will pay a little more attention to detail.

My oldest is like his mother, it takes a little to get him spun up. My dad, my youngest and me, short circuit pretty quick.
She will learn, some people have the patience of saints. You just need to make sure she knows how to think for herself, so she doent get walked on.

Well I have an update, kind of! The night that I posted the last update I was a little irritated and called those chuckle heads. Basically told them the truck was almost perfect before the storm, it better be perfect when they think its ready again. I also mentioned that I would get my insurance company involved if they tried to pull any more shit with my wife and boys. They called her Thursday evening to ask or more time on the Tundra and were very nice this time. The boys Tacoma was dropped off to be reworked as well. 3 weeks it'll take for his truck. To be continued...

Hopefully everything will be up to snuff before next hail event...
On a lighter note..It must really blow not being able to be there to "deal" with things yourself. @COMiamiFan has see-gars and beer waiting...one of my bucket list items. I'm easy.

UPDATE: I spoke with Mi Reina, the other night. The body shop is now saying Dec 10th. My Dad will be there with her this time. I would love to be a fly on the wall for that one. My parents love her more than me! True story they both threatened me with bodily harm if I ever did anything to mess it up.

And the MFing saga continues! I get to look at the truck in direct sunlight. I freaking flipped out. It looked like waves on the ocean. They didnt replace 2 doors like they were supposed to, I found 2 paint runs, they didnt fix my Snugtop. So after and hour of f'ing this and f'ing that. This simple minded meely mouthed, excuse making, appendage sucking fool still trys to patronize me!!
I called the insurance company from his office, 2 doors will be purchased, a new Snugtop and complete new bed. And the kicker, no f'ing Tundra!
All of you local guys, DO NOT TAKE YOU VEHICLES TO WILLIAMS PAINT AND BODY.
Can I have my old name back now? Please!
Thank you for letting me vent. My boy recorded this by the way. It's kind of funny, now.

Thanks, Jose. Man I was all excited. I was going to put my RCI boards on this weekend, then have my new lift put on, next week. On the way home, my boy tells me, Dad I never heard the f word conjugated so many different ways. I had to laugh at that.

My insurance didnt bat an eye. They said, if it's not like the way it was before that they would make sure it was. Make sure you inspect the heck out of it. In the sun and shade at all angles. Dont pay them until you are 100% happy with it.

I'm beginning to think that they were trying to do stuff to make profit, I just can't prove it yet. I am going through the claim in the morning to see if I can find anything.
