Why are you haters/negative Nannie’s getting so emotional when someone calls you out? Why can’t you just be civil? I’m pretty sure part of the issue is the generation gap, but the way society is now I just honestly don’t know why we all just can’t get along better as human beings. That’s the bottom line……:notsure:

Look like I have said in the past, I don’t hate anyone even the members that I am in a discussion with. I am just a passionate person and my life goal now is try to bring more positivity in the world. I just hate when people use derogatory words/statements against others. I know some are joking but some across as being very serious and are repeat offenders.

We're putting big tires on our trucks to make them irrelevant. No worries...

Have you considered using this wonderful invention called the paragraph? It makes it easier to organize your thoughts and communicate them with others in written form.

Oh wow I finally got the number one hater I have seen lately. I would bet money that your parents probably have no idea how you act online or they would probably cut your internet access off and make you come out the basement to finally cut the grass or do some physical activity around their home. It’s ok we all mature at different levels, some like well you know, may never if they don’t get out of that basement. Good luck to you regardless young man. I have a strange feeling you need ALL the help you can get!! :stirthepot:

btw, tell me more of this invention called the “p.a.r.a.g.r.a.p.h.” You mentioned. I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, but you seem like a very well adjusted intelligent individual. Please help me as you seem to do with others that have opposite opinions from yourself on this forum…..

You seem to spend a lot of time making assumptions about other people. I could speculate as to why you do this, but it would be just that: speculation.

I don’t care what mental gymnastics you want to go to in order to justify making poor choices with vehicle modifications. Facts are facts, and the laws of physics won’t be denied. If you were operating this vehicle strictly on private property I could care less what you do with it.

However, you’re operating on public roads, which isn’t a right, it’s a privilege that comes with some responsibilities. Now most states have yet to address the safety of suspension modifications and ride height modifications. There are a few that have started to ban squatted trucks, and that’s a step in the right direction. Just because something isn’t illegal doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a smart thing to do, or responsible to do.

We all understand, or should understand the negative affects to dynamic handling of a vehicle when the center of gravity is raised, mass is increased, and rotational mass is increased. Namely a higher chance for rolling over in an accident, or emergency lane change trying to avoid an accident. Longer stopping distances because the braking system isn’t designed to cope with much heavier wheels and tires. Reduced ability to chance directions because those heavier wheels and tires are much slower to respond to inputs from the steering wheel. Not to mention increased wear and tear on brakes, bearings, and other suspension components. Unless you really stay on top of maintenance your modifications may further contribute to reduced braking and handling from accelerated wear and tear.

Now put that vehicle in traffic with a bunch of other humans, doing human stuff: texting while driving, daydreaming, putting on makeup, driving shit heaps that shouldn’t be on the road from lack of maintenance. You know, human stuff. Now you might be a good driver, so you cruise around below the speed limit taking into account the new limits of your truck to stop and avoid accidents with others right?

If you’re not slowing down significantly you’re intentionally increasing the risks for everyone else on the road including yourself. Now this is all a calculated risk when we get behind the wheel of anything and set out on a public road, and there are very very few drivers these days who aren’t also increasing risks with their behavior or equipment.

Ethically speaking at what point does someone draw the line and curtail their desires so they don’t add to the problem? I love to drive fast, I’m a car guy at heart; left to my own devices I would cruise four lane highways at triple digit speeds in cars safely capable of it. I live in a very low population density state, and I can tell you there’s not a lot of law enforcement out here to make me slow down for fear of a ticket. Yet I don’t blast around at 140+MPH because other humans are also on the road, and unfortunately in this country we don’t teach anyone how to drive or maintain lane discipline. Gotta deal with all these other humans, and they do some human shit a lot of the time.

I like your sarcasm. It’s refreshing. I also have “racing stripes” on couple of my other rides. One below also with a 5.5 inch lift and “only” 35” tires on her (hate away). Again, they aren’t for you……

So you are the lift height, tire size, grammar, dotd, etc etc police. Must be tiring to be you. For real. Yikes and I thought I was long winded.
So you are so concerned that my trucks height and extra load etc is putting such a strain on the roadway (lord forbid the millions of dump trucks and 18wheelers) that it’s causing the decay of our roadways. Man I honestly thought I had heard it all. I’ll give it to you on originality! To me it seems you are more concerned for concrete/asphalt than your relationships with human beings. I have read some of your past posts and I don’t think I’m making any assumptions about you. Plus seems like some members have even blocked you from their threads or communicating with them. Bro if that don’t tell you something nothing else will. Unlike you I will listen to the other side and I don’t always think I am right. I am definitely a flawed human being (apparently I don’t know how to write paragraphs). Seriously, I have made many mistakes in my life but when you’re in your 50’s let’s touch base again and compare notes. So what’s your thoughts on EV’s? I literally just ordered a Tesla Model S Plaid this past weekend and was gonna post some pics when I get it in next 4-6 weeks, but you are the type of person that will find negativity for even a gas free save the environment vehicle. Btw, that’s not why I got it. I also am a car guy and love speed. I also will 100% get the track pack for it coming out in June. Trying to get my sales contact to see if he can have it added before I take delivery. You see I am very happy with my life and even someone like you so negative I still wish you only the best and hope one day you too can retire early and enjoy life and obtain whatever you want (cars, vaca homes, etc etc.). No it’s not all about material possessions either. I am a veteran as well and spend a lot of my time and money trying to help other vets. I am a huge proponent for military life and I think if you joined any branch for at least two years you will have a different view of things. Nothing wrong with anyone not being a veteran, I personally just believe it can benefit almost anyone. Yea I know, no separate paragraphs…..:annoyed:

I have zero thoughts of grandeur that I mean anything to anyone on here. I specifically addressed that to someone else but YOU Felt important enough to respond to it. What does that say about you? :notsure:

I’m not sure how you construed what I wrote into being concerned about your vehicle affecting pavement.

Are you functionally illiterate? There are programs to help adults with literacy issues, I’m sure the state of Louisiana has some, and now that you’re retired you should have time to enroll.
