After many years of suggesting that my wife at least consider a Toyota Sequoia (with the 2003 Suburban and 2013 Yukon having issues and down on power), she decided, on her own, to go take a look at them. She was a life-long big GM car or SUV fan and was not flexible. This was back in June of 2017. A couple of weeks later and she drives up in a new Sequoia and is a TOTAL Toyota convert, just freakin' loves her new car. She is in her 70s and has bragged about drag racing a couple of noisy rice grinders in town (and winning, hands down).

Driving her Sequoia inspired me to offer my beloved 2006 Tundra to my daughter (which she jumped on the opportunity) and I bought my 2018 Tundra. My son bought a 2008 (5.7) a couple of years ago, the little whipper-snapper, he had to have more horsepower than Daddy. Now all four of us have outstanding Toyotas and my wife, son and I all have the same drivetrains.

It doesn't get much better than this.

I hear ya. My wife’s Sequoia is great. Drives like a dream. Hers is a 2012. Wish they would update them.

My wife has a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. We pay for our vehicles separately, and she loves not having a payment. Even when she did have a payment, it was some ridiculous amount like $120 a month or something low like that. I really don't care for the car at all, but to its credit I've never once had to pick her up on the side of the road. So I guess I shouldn't complain. I also can't blame her for her frugality. But the car is pretty boring and generic lol. She loves my truck, but absolutely does not care about cars in any way (which is something I can't even fathom lol). She's a simple A to B kind of person when it comes to vehicles. I have been BEGGING her for years to trade it for either a Camry or a Highlander. I would love for her to have a 4Runner, but she thinks they're too bulky. Maybe one day I'll be able to talk her into it.

    The devil horns are sick!

Edit you know that the Toyota symbol is actually a symbol of the Trinity. 3 circles. One of those conspiracy occult meaning things lol.
