That's the gif, no hyperflash at all.

I replaced my drls with led bulbs because I noticed that the pigtail was overheating. Charred socket.
I just received & installed the hirev tails today & still have the hyperflash. Kind of a bummer but the tails are pretty cool regardless.

Question about the turn signals - I went to the their website and the description only talks about the power-on animation. Where do I select the sequential turn signal option?

I don’t think it’s an option you can switch on or off. It’s full rime sequential turn signals.

oh. In your original post you mention that there is a sequential option when ordering. I went through the ordering steps and didn’t see this as an option. I would like the lights to come with the sequential feature.

There was an option on the order page when I ordered but I looked again before replying to your question and the only option now is the lens color. So I guess the removed the sequential option.

I remember looking when you initially posted and it was an option. Maybe everyone bought sequential so they just made it the only option to cut down on some cost.

They removed the option from ordering for some reason. You can email them and make sure you get what you want. I wanted non-sequential so I ordered, emailed, and had a response in 24hrs. Good customer service.

I’ve only had them installed for a few days, but the lights are great so far

Do you think some gently applied heat would minimize this imperfection? If it were mine and more replacements were coming, I might try some heat...starting out very low and gently.

Possibly. I ended up returning them. They are the only tail lights that stand out to me. My options currently are to wait for Morimoto to release some tail lights or buy another pair once they get a new batch.

Something I dislike is they are probably still selling tail lights with imperfections. Sure a lot of people can live with it but if you buy a new product you want it to be new.

I checked with Hi-Rev. They said all lights come with sequential lighting unless you don't want then it, you must call them.

I love the blacked out look on white tundras. A lot of people say it looks like a stormtrooper but when done right it looks good.

Got mine a few weeks ago, along with leather steering wheel. I just added a note to my order to turn off the start up animation but i had them leave the sequential turn signal active. Love both products. Cant go wrong with black on black431AA16A-2EFD-403C-91A8-83C8A9257FA7.jpg21E7E606-EA01-4C14-9565-4A7426159D75.jpg
