That's how my work normally is with the Tundras. Won't sell them even when they are replaced! They will normally send the old ones to one of our other branches as a backup or as a runner vehicle. Mine is actually the first one they've decided to sell. They have another one that was just replaced that will be going up for sale in a few weeks. This one is a 2015 Tundra Limited 5.7L DC in metallic gray. It has 405k on the odometer! Like mine, it has never had anything done to it other than routine maintenance. Someone is going to get a fully loaded 2015 Tundra for a damn STEAL! Most of our fleet Tundras are base SR models with 4.6L and DC, and all in white. The 2015 Limited was purchased because it came back to our Toyota dealer (Mark Jacobson Toyota) as a repo with 15k miles, and the fleet manager got it cheaper than a new base SR. Kind of wish I knew about that one before I purchased mine. They are going to sell it for $2k!

That's one hell of a deal.
My 2016 5.7 is at 302k. Still drives the same. Been a great truck.

I am completely flabbergasted at how well this truck drives! With 377k? I have a 2005 Durango SLT 4.7L that I've had since new. I have taken extremely good care of it, and ALWAYS had it serviced on time or early. I ALWAYS ran Mobil 1 Synthetic and paid for the good oil filters. Don't get me wrong, it's been a GREAT vehicle, but with 284k, it's had its share of problems. It is sitting in the driveway as we speak with a bad water pump, bad o2 sensor, and a leaky ass radiator. I've also had to replace the alternator and the in-tank fuel pump. The engine is still hitting on all 8 cylinders, but the power is lacking, and it stalls sometimes. The original trans is still perfect. The fuel mileage is also terrible, and keeps getting worse. It just feels ragged and worn. The suspension is TERRIBLE. Squeaky and mushy. We have brand new Tundras at work, and mine drives no different than the new ones. Boggles my mind!

Can't kill a Toyota. They're definitely built to last. I run the synthetic crap they use at the dealership in bulk I run 7-9k oil changes.
Did your truck do alot of towing?

To my knowledge, it wasn't used to tow very often, but it does have the factory tow package. I also know that it received bulk conventional 0w20 and Toyota brand oil filters at all oil changes.

    Great pictures!

I don't think 0W-20 is available in conventional oil, is it? I thought 0W-20 had to be synthetic or a synthetic blend, but I could be wrong.

$2500!? That is such a good deal I would have bought it too and would be fine sleeping on the couch for the next few days.

Actually, yes. You are correct. I misheard our fleet manager when he sold me the truck. He said he used the oil/weight that the Toyota dealer that we buy all our Toyota fleet vehicles from, (Mark Jacobson Toyota of Durham), recommened. After just speaking to him, he stated that when the driver's get their oil changed, they use whatever brand 0w20 the garage/dealer has on hand (according to him, they use Mobil 1 0w20 95% of the time). He did verify that 0w20 is ONLY available as a synthetic oil. I apologize for the misinformation! Thanks for the correction!
