I just bought a 2014 Tundra Crewmax 8 hrs ago. I love the truck, but I was surprised by the lack of storage space under the rear seats and being unable to fold the back of the rear seats forward. How can I hide & secure a rifle (& even handguns) in a 2014 Tundra?

I believe there is thread that was posted recently that allows you to access this area.
Not sure if it will be enough room, but I will see if I can locate the thread.

Plenty of places to put a handgun, not so much a rifle if you have a crewmax. May look into a roof mounted rack or the cheap one from cabelas that straps to your seats and hangs behind them.

You could've done that with a 2nd gen. None of us know why they took away a feature as awesome as that.

I have a "lockerdown" gun vault in my console, love it and would buy again in a minute.Heavy and very solid. Easily installed in less than 15 minutes. Locker down is US made in San Antonio, Tx. I ordered my console safe and had it in three days drop shipped to my door in perfect condition.

They also make a rifle storage vault that installs under the rear seat, you are in one for about a $ grand $, not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
It appears they maybe out of stock right now. Call em, they are great to deal with. At least they were when I called and ordered my console safe.
    Cheers!

Just ordered the under seat storage with abloy lock with 3 keys with the discount code for 10% discount off and free shipping. The locker down quality is no joke!
