HID bulbs.. Do I have everything I need to install?

I am new to lighting and HID's in general so please take it easy on me

A while back I was given this wiring harness and 2 HID bulbs.
I lost the other packaging so I have no idea who made these or anything along those lines.

I believe I may be able to install these in my 2012.
Am I correct? Do I need to purchase anything else in order to put these in my truck?
Would it be worth it to put these in? Will it actually be an upgrade vs the stock lights?

So I asked a friend of mine and we came up with "it looks like you're missing ballasts."
I'm still curious as to whether the headlight housings will accept the hid bulbs and give me a good light pattern. Anyone have any advice?
Also if I need to purchase ballasts which ones would be recommended?

With the price of some of the higher quality ballasts (~$100 each?) it looks like I may be better off just buying an entire new kit.
