    Hello,

I am new to the forum and new to owning a Tundra. I had a couple 2008 Tacomas with TRD off-road packages. I decided to sell my last Taco for a Tundra. I like the size of the 1st generation Tundras for trails off-road and plan to start a build this year when the weather warms up. My blue 2004 Tundra is stock for now and I am going to the Rock Therapy event at the end of May. I'm hoping to get my truck trail savvy by then. I have some experience off-roading in my Tacomas and the Ranger I had before them and the Jeep Cherokee I had before that.

Thank you! I had some pictures of my truck, but I think I deleted them, so stay tuned for those. Might have them up tomorrow, but may be next weekend.

Welcome. Interested in what you do to get it trail ready.
I was considering a future 1st gen tundra with V8 for the trails vs a smaller 1st gen tacoma V6. Not sure which direction i will go when the time comes.

I'm not going to be able to go too crazy this year, maybe 3 inch suspension + a 1 inch body lift/leveling kit. I just bought new tires in October so unless I can get rid of them without losing too much I won't be able to upgrade the size there until the tread runs out. So I will probably also do a cb radio and that's about it this year. I'm going to try to pay it all off so I can turn my monthly payment into savings for upgrades.

Yes, Toyota came and brought the 2016 Taco and fed us tacos for dinner that night! It would be awesome if we did an event like that with Tundras!
