I have a 2010 Tundra that the engine light and traction light have come on. I took it to a shop and they ran a diagnostics test and said it needs a secondary air injection valve replacement . They want $750 to fix it . I believe I can fix it myself with the correct part put starting looking on line and saw the air injection system bypass module. Do they make one for the 2010 that would work ?

Hi James, welcome from WI. I believe that the Rutech bypass module should fit from 2009 to 2012 as long as you have the 5.7 liter and it's not flex fuel.

We have the best welcoming committee!!

The answer to your question is maybe.

If you have done all the AIP updates, probably will not work, but I would call the original designer of this bypass module. He had things in the works.

If you are in limp mode or have a CEL, that has to be resolved before the bypass will work.

All this information was passed down to me 4 years ago from the original designer of the AIP bypass kit. Things may have changed, so I would definitely call some of the manufacturers on this product.

I have also heard a pump from a GM 4.3L V6 will also work, and it’s a lot cheaper.
