    Joacim, I'm going to apologize for my ignorance up front. My mom , who is still alive at 93 years old, used to cook up Swedish meatballs with noodles. We have IKEA here and they serve Swedish meatballs at their cafeteria. Not bad at all....but..it's got to be better there in Sweden. Can you post an authentic Swedish meatball recipe??

    Yepp... gas prices in Europe have always been much higher than in the States.
    When you get your license here in Sweden you have you pass a test called "eco driving". It pretty much teches you to drive economic in terms of use the cars energy correctly.

    Does your family have a Swedish connection or does your mom just love the meatballs? :)

    Most swedes eat the meatballs with potatoes, sauce, lingonberry jam (must have the jam!) and perhaps carrot and cucumber pickle.
    This is one of my favourite dish!

    My blood is Irish and Scottish but my mom liked to use the old Betty Crocker cookbook when she wanted to deviate from what she was used to cooking up. Thanks for that recipe.
