So my starter or battery went out on my 2000 Tundra :(

If it's the starter, I'm getting a new truck ASAP.

I like the DC models and was seriously considering the SR5 grade but now considering Limited. Differences that caught my eye are leather interior, power rear window, and wood-like trim. What features would you consider with these 2 choices?...or any other for that matter. Thanks in advance.

I’ve changed out a starter on my old honda. Keep in mind I know nothing about cars. Just a few YouTube vids and it was all god

    Thanks for the feedback :)

I researched starter replacement for this model. The intake manifold has to come off to swap the starter out. Don't know if I want to go through that or spend $1k to have someone do it. I'm capable of doing this myself but don't want to invest the time. Looking for a reason to get a new truck probably has a lot to do with it.;)

Hey nothing wrong with a new ride either! :woot:

I would just try to keep that first gen as long as possible. Looking at all the badass first gens on this forum, makes me kinda want one

Back in the hunt for a Tundra! Considering the idea that I’d mod my truck (lift and aftermarket wheels), what grade and options would you get? I need the modern electronics so I’d likely get the premium audio option
along with SR5 upgrade and possibly convenience pkg.

After 20 years of 1st Gen Tundra ownership with 287k miles, I finally bought another!

I pulled the trigger on a 2020 4x4 DC Limited in Calvary Blue.

I'll get some pics posted in time. I'm currently figuring out the optimal way to off-load my 2000 Tundra. Can anyone please offer up suggestions? I just setup a CarMax appraisal appointment. Just to see what they will offer. Waste of time?
