Welcome from Oregon. The :spending:has already started. I joined the Toyota bandwagon 15 years ago, will enjoy the Toyota quality.

Errrbody I know that's been there has loved it. I've just flown through the Anchorage airport, but spent a few weeks in Fairbanks during the winter and summer. I'm sure we'll love it.
Ha, I had a mod problem with my previous trucks, too. The first thing my wife said when I bought this one was "you're not gonna change a million things on this truck, are you?" I laughed at her.... And then sweetly asked to spend money on mods.

There is a decent off road shop in Anchorage. Heh...heh...Forgot the name.
When you make the inevitable trip(s) down to Kenai Peninsula make sure you stop at Roscoe's Pizza in Ninilchik north of Anchor Point about 15 miles. Roscoe used to be the executive chef at Princess Denali Lodge. Best pizza. All the tables, stools, benches were handmade by my friend Ken. I helped haul them down from Anchorage. $300 of the bill was in pizza credit. Needless to say....we went there a lot. Roscoe used to close in the winter. Checkout Roscoe's Pizza on Facebook!

Asking the wife to spend money, isn't this the truth. Now if only she asked if she could buy new shoes :boom:
