I’d say the better question is this: are you getting paid millions of dollars to run a company and are you in a position to critique based on years of performance at an equal level?

Maaaaan I clicked on this thinking I could score a killer deal on some component speakers. I should have known it doesn't take 16,000 employees to build speakers.

    Ill bite.

Don't need to be paid millions or have her job to know she failed. Failures of this magnitude don't happen without a CEOs awareness and 19 billion in debt doesn't happen overnight. They were hurting before Covid was even heard of, the lockdown just sealed her fate quicker.

Can you prove she isn't at fault?

    There it is.

In reality none of us turn down the offer of 7 figure salary and the potential of exponentially more in stock. But this CEO, hired by a Board of Directors, who are elected by the stock holders, is supposed to face some sort of Tundra forum shame and turn back something she legally earned? Maybe she feels guilty if she really did fail. What if she was the reason they didn't have to lay off 32,000 employees when they declared bankruptcy?

Y'all don't know. Stop pretending you do. Maybe that CEO is the scourge of the Earth. Maybe a saint. No clue here.

Want to change it? If you really do care, get your butt on that Board of Directors and demand the right decisions are made (according to you) by the Hertz Corporation. Until then, feel free and happy lobbing criticisms from a Tundra forum if you want - this is not restricted speech.

I'd much rather you not be that guy/gal you loathe who freely criticizes your work from afar who you know damn well doesn't know shit.

Don’t need to prove anything, because I’m not the one judging something that’s hugely above my pay grade. The point I was making is that its dumb and pointless to all jump on the “boo” bandwagon of something like this.

It’s not just their job but their legal responsibility to as you so eloquently put it “line the pockets of their shareholders.”.

Whoa. Why is it not OK to state how I feel about this? It's 'Merica and I have as much right to express how I feel about this as you do to shoot me down for it. Hypocrite much?
