Yep. No parts to fix it currently and if you previously had it repaired even the new pump you got might be faulty as well. That’s what I’m hearing.

I understand one of the tierod boots is catching the majority of the fluid when the seal blows. Can anyone say if it's the drivers or pax side? Or is there evidence either side can fail?

Mine failed after stressing it and taking the wheel to full lock pulling into a parking spot. FYI

I typed up my story on another power steering thread, but the short version:

Took delivery of my '21 on Oct 2nd, with 160 miles on it (dealer drove it up). Two days later I took the wife out to dinner, and while parking it there was a loud pop/bang and no power steering. 249 miles on it.

    Insert Toyota roadside debacle...

4 days later truck is fixed. Steering rack seal(s) blew out. Fluid filled the boots.

Truck has an Aug'21 build date.

So a 1:4 chance you got a bad one the first time and they replaced it with another 1:4 chance bad one?

What are the odds of this?

Sorry for your trouble...this whole debacle is discouraging to say the least...so far...

They keep shipping out new 2022 Tundras and seemingly ignoring us 2021'rs...doesn't exactly inspire me to buy another Tundra at this juncture.

Almost identical to my situation if you didn't read the beginning of this thread.
