Help Please TRD Skid Plate Bolts

    Hi, are you referring to the TRD plate or the other one behind it? The TRD plate blocks oil drain? that's what I was afraid of.

    Side note, has anyone had the “popping” noise from skid plate/cat plate bolts being too tight? I asked them not to overtighten the bolts last service which helped a little, but I still hear the popping/flexing pretty frequently at low speed.

    My truck didn’t pop originally. Wasn’t until after one of the first services that it started. Cat shield came with truck at purchase and was installed by dealer due to high number of thefts.
