So a little background..I have a 16' crewmax and I installed train horns which required an air tank. Now don't get me wrong, I love my train horns (best mod money I have ever spent lol) but bed space is at a premium. The air tank is installed under my roll n lock housing that is also installed. My current setup is a cargo manager that cuts my space in half, so I'm not digging that.

My question: Does anyone know who would fabricate a metal housing to cover the air tank? I'm thinking this serves a few purposes 1) Protects the air tank from cargo 2) Gives me some of my bed space back and 3) I can beat up the housing with cargo and not worry about it.

    Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Pictures of the setup to come, I am posting from work and they do not like media content :(

Mount it on the frame rail under the truck. Like on a big truck.

I also saw some one do a small tank in the front of the truck between the grill and radiator .

Makes the most sense! Underneath probably was the right answer to begin with, but it was a one man install. Holding the up and installing would have been fun :)

I see someone made a compressor mount for under the hood and mount the tank(s) on the side of the frame. Sweet!

They should make a tank that looks like long horn steer horns that one can mount on the hood, like a Cadillac owned by Boss HogScreenshot_20190306-071342_Google.jpg
