I replaced a headliner in a Sienna last year. We thought it was just a broken wire. Nope mice ate through the harness in the headliner and the drivers side curtain airbag. All around the sunroof was full of chewed items.

Peanut butter and some black sunflower seeds I had laying around. which are probably the reason I have mice to begin with. I threw the bag out but saved a big Tupperware full for bait.
I went to dinner tonight. gone 3 hours. and just found 3 more in traps. crazy.

You should put the traps on newspapers or something. And toss the dead mice with the newspaper. Mice can smell where another mouse died and will start avoiding that area.

Honda sells a special electrical tape laced with cayenne pepper. It is a rodent deterrent. It doesn't always work but I have had good success with it. Pretty much any time I do a wire repair related to rodents, I tape up the affected area with this. Unfortunately I do not have the part number and acquiring it through a dealership requires the parts counter guy knowing what you're talking about. I have found it online though.

I got 3 more mice today. I must be up to 10 in 3 days. Hopefully that's the majority of them. I'll keep the traps set all winter though.

I don't normally see vehicles come back after I've used the tape. Funny story though... I had a 2nd Gen CM come through with a hard to track down EVAP leak. Turned out to be a rat had chewed through the rollover valve on the fuel tank. I have, at this point, put 3 fuel tanks in that truck for rats chewing through the rollover valve in the same location. I'm sure his insurance is getting tired of these calls.

MICE SUCK - I had one do $691 damage under the hood when it chewed up my main wiring harness. He also chewed up my water lines to the windshield washer reservoir. Tried everything to get him out including setting mouse traps inside truck every freaking night. Finally, putting rat traps outside of truck caught the little buggers (2 full size rats). No problems since....

We speared a squirrel with my 52" pry bar once...

We've torn apart dashes, center consoles, cowls, pulled seats, stripped trunks, removed carpet, all to locate the pests. What's funny is everyone gets excited so you'll see 5-6 techs stripping another tech's car down. Once the pest is found everyone leaves him to clean it all up and reassemble the car by himself.

We normally take em out back and finish em with a hammer.

Many homeowners have mice problems and wonder how to keep mice out of a house. Here are some tips on how to keep mice out of a house. Don't feed them. hat may sound obvious, but think about it. Mice need food. Don't leave food out where they can get it. Clean up your crumbs, seal up any openings to your house, use traps. If then also your problems are not resolved, one can call an exterminator for advice. Some exterminators have their branches in different cities like Exterminator Fairfield County CT, Exterminator Danbury CT, Exterminator Fairfield CT, Exterminator Greenwich CT, exterminators have idea and knowledge on how to exterminate it permanently so that it should not return.

Meh, they only do it once. Life lessons and all. Back in my day we didn't worry about whether a kid would mess with a mouse/rat trap, they just didn't do it. I blame jackass and video games.

If you choose to use glue traps be smarter than me! I placed one under the driver seat amongst other places over a long weekend. Thats were my trouble started you see:( Of course it was dog and pony day at work and business casual attire was being sported. So I hit the brakes a bit hard and that sticky bastard slid out from beneath seat. I rested my left heel on that sticky bitch And then rolled it in half thus sticking the remaining sticky stuff to the carpet. If you find yourself in this sticky place take your shoe off and drive do not attempt to remove while speeding down the interstate....I promise it makes matters worse. Lol but the goo off stuff does work and your carpet can be saved.

Rule #1 don't store anything in your garage, stack nothing up against the walls and keep it clean. Yeah I know it's tough and I'm guilty of it too since our garage has become a storage unit. Also make sure your door closed all the way and the seal is good.

Also helps if you don't have any trashy neighbors.
Just amazes me how some people can live in complete filth.

Well I just cleaned out a rat nest out of my cabin air filter. Poped the hood today only to find rat dropoings all over the engine bay. Sprayed everything down and set 6 rat traps and 4 mouse traps. They ate my washer hose and the insulation on the firewall and the got under my intake manifold.
