Looks good man! Nice stance and perfect tire size selection. You won't regret spending more for the 5100s. Smart move to get them instead of your first choice.

hi Jaylee,, I need some help.. I have the exact same truck as you. 2016 trd pro and want the same look. I ordered 35's to go on 20 inch rims with a 2 1/2 leveling kit installed. The installer calls me today and says he's having a hard time finding a kit for my truck. Tells me it might not be able to be lifted since its a pro. Its been in the business along time and doesn't bullshit. Very honest guy. He sounded surprised himself. Does this sound right. Is yours a pro? if so, what lift did you go with to make it all work out. Your look is exactly what I want mine to look like. Yours looks awesome... thanks for the help.

Check with Toytec (toyteclifts.com). They should have something that works for the pro. I really dont think the suspension setup is any different that the no Pro's except for the expensive reservoir front coilovers and rear shocks.

Confirmed, the Pro Bilsteins are bolt on just like other stock suspension, they have springs that give 1 1/2" lift. You can swap to any 2.5" or 3" lift.

Was about to order Rough Country level kit (just a front spacer) until I chanced upon this thread. Here's the link:
    http://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-leveling-lift-kit-871.html

It's $99 for a 2.5" and seems a good setup for a basic level. Numerous posters in this thread recommended away from it - may I ask why? And did the OP install them and then remove them for the 5100s? Was it a bad ride?

As to the 5100s, will they stiffen the ride if pushed to their max setting for the 2.5" lift? I tow an 8k lb trailer with an '08 and 91k miles and am looking to do a level lift and replace the shocks (age-based) plus new tires. I'm avoiding a coil over based on cost.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

I have the RC spacer kit on my truck (3 months now) and from experience, the ride pretty much sucks, it's much easier to bottom out your shocks plus you're more at risk for busting, bending, and all around destroying your shocks, not just from the geometry being off, but your OEM shocks aren't designed for that mod.
I don't have experience with bilsteins, but from what others have told me and riding in a couple of trucks geared with them, I would say you shouldnt have any worries about it being too stiff and does fine with towing. I would look more into the 6112 (if I'm not mistaken) if you're dead set on bilsteins with the weight you're towing.
Look in the suspension and towing threads in this forum. Those will be a big help.
In a few months I'm upgrading to the Toytec BOSS suspension. I would absolutely recommend you go the bilsteins, BOSS, OME, etc route in place of a spacer lift. Your truck, ride and passengers will thank you. Trust me.

@Law323 thanks! Nothing like first-hand experience to help a community out. I'll do the 5100s on all 4 for now, which should get me level if I skip a rear block. I'll try to remember I promised @csuviper some stock suspension measurements before I install them

Blocks.....I would consider coachbuilder shackles first. All around better security and peace of mind.

No problem Sky! Let us know how it goes and post some pics of the end result! :burnrubber:

Check out ToyTec Shackles first IMHO. Solid welded steel, not assembled. (a weakness).

Huh, didn't know that. Definitely going to look into that when I upgrade!
