Welcome from Clever, MO. I bought my 18 DC TRD OR from Reliable about a month ago, looks like yours only SR5.

I recently purchased a Winnebago Micro Minnie 5th wheel trailer. I added E rated BFG KO2s, a B & W Turnover gooseneck ball, an Anderson Ultimate hitch, and Firestone's Ride-Rite air bags to help support the trailer's 1,060 pounds hitch weight and 5,500 pounds dry weight. This picture was taken before the air bag installation.

Thanks for the welcomes! The Firestone air bags worked great. Levels the truck and absorbs the big bumps. The Tundra has plenty of power to pull the 6,000 pounds my loaded 5th wheel weighs.

Im out in San Diego but seriously considering "retiring" and heading to Lake of the Ozarks area. Looking for better America. Do you have any recommendations on which area to start the search? Any good resources to research. Love to be on the water... and have a 5 year old granddaughter that we raise. Thanks.

Choosing which lake depends on what you want from the lake. Lake of the Ozarks has large boats and homes owned mostly by St. Louis or KC people. Very busy with a lot of parties. Table Rock lake is a world renown bass fishing lake with homes with more property, Branson area for family entertainment. There are several smaller lakes with nice communities available too. All of Missouri is conservative with the SW area being the most conservative along with being the brass buckle of the bible belt. Springfield is the world headquarters of the Assemblies of God. The overall cost of living is low but so are wages so it's a wash.

I grew up in Eldon Missouri years ago, if I was moving back to live on the lake, I would look around Sunrise Beach, on the water and little out of the way, some your summers are not so crowded. But still close to everything by water. Also HWY-MM will get you back in the thick of everything pretty quick. Just my two bits

Thank you for the info. I retired from the CG 8 years ago and have been a CIV employee since. Deep thoughts on my next move. Burned out a bit on SOCAL and have been considering Canyon lake area TX, Hot Springs Ark, Lake of Ozarks area...Thanks again and apologies for bringing this thread down a rabbit hole.
