Welcome from a current customer. You all were extremely helpful when helping me find the pressures i needed for my scaled axle weights, and the Factor of Safety was a term I had never heard mentioned before.

Could you give a breakdown of what that is and how it compares to the chalk test and trade-off between higher FoS but possibly less tread life due to a higher pressure?

Thank your folks for making such a good tire. I love my Falken tires and I have almost everything from Goodyear Wranglers, Toyo, Hankook, Bridgestone, Les Schwab Open Contry to BF Goodrich ATs. The Falkens are my favorite. Welcome from the Northern Colorado mountains.

When it comes to tire pressure, the main concern is a tire supporting the load of a vehicle & its cargo. Think of how the Ford Explorer rollover case back in the day & what improper/low air pressure on paved roads does to a vehicle/passengers.

The chalk test accounts for wear only, so it's hard to gauge whether it supports load.

Yes, call in to our 1800-723-2553 ext 2. Ask for Robert. That is me. Should I move on within the company or what not, someone else will take over this account. I can send my business card to the mods for verification. ;)

Email info@falkentire.com. They'll forward it to Marketing. I'm sure we can send decals to our supports or sticker collectors.:D

This is true and it's for most tire manufacturers. I have customers calling in because Toyo/BFG/Yokohama were out of stock and we were the only choice or vice versa. Luckily we have our Buffalo plant, but even that is taxed with production. We are all hoping late 2022/early 2023 to be at a somewhat normal stock.

They dont currently produce that size as far as I know, but wish they did. Had to go with Nitto as I also tried to get the at3w in 295/70/18 locally and nothing in stock and on national backorder for an indefinite amount of time.

I think wildpeaks are the best AT tire out there. My only gripe (and it isn’t even really a complaint) offer a raised white letter option like a ko2.

Why was the manufacturing of the Wildpeaks AT3Ws transferred to China??

This is a huge disappointment and an absolute deal breaker for many.

I had them on my lifted Expedition and was very pleased with them. They were made in Thailand (possibly Indonesia can’t remember) at the time. I bought my Tundra and needed tires upon purchase and was not sure when I would be lifting or leveling so I went with Michelin’s as they were on sale and wanted something less aggressive, made in the states, and a great tire for Highway and mild offroading.
Now I am leveled and fully armored so have been looking at tires only to find the Wildpeaks are now made in China.
I refuse to buy anything made in China if there is a fully viable and cost effective competitor made elsewhere.

Thank you for being here. It’s always helpful when company reps are around.
Sadly most tend not to hang around long.

Totally understandable. Wasn't meant as malicious comment. I wanted them but unfortunately not available. I was hoping to be able to purchase before needed but that's changed this weekend after the stock tires finally had enough. Hopefully in a few years when I am ready you'll have them in 285/70/18:fingerscrossed:

Welcome to the community! I love seeing more manufacturers and suppliers of mods, accessories, and necessities joining up. I would recommend browsing the other vendor's posts and such. It will give you a good idea of the positive (and negative) reactions and questions you're likely to get from us.

Again, glad to have you on board!
