    Hi,

Signing up so I can ask some questions around 3rd gen tundras and see how people are liking the small changes to the 2018's.

Currently driving a 2009 Tacoma and prior to that had a 2007 FJ Cruiser. Family is growing and looking to get into a full-sized truck. My Toyota's have been great to me but Toyota Canada prices and their full MSRP sale tactics might force me to go a different route.

Anyways, look forward to learning more!

Welcome, there is definitely a lot of knowledge here and quite a bit of entertainment as well. If you want to spend some money... this is the place. You will be encouraged to buy a truck and then mod it and then show plenty of pics!:D

    Aloha from Hawaii.

I just picked up my 2018 this past Monday. As a first time truck owner, I can tell you this thing is massive. I have 2 young kids and wanted to get a truck that would have room for a third, if the cards hold right.

I sat in the back of a Tacoma in the showroom. My knees were on my chest. In the back of the tundra, I can almost stretch full out, and that's with the driver's seat in a comfortable driving position.

You won't regret the purchase. The adaptive cruise control is very cool and works well. Already have been using it. I looked down for a split second to change the radio screen and felt the truck slow down. Sure enough, guy in front of me was decreasing speed quickly (for no reason).

    It's a great truck.

I saw your post earlier! Congratulations. What you bought is exactly what I would get, same package, colour, everything!

    Thanks.

It's such a beast of a truck. My wife has a 6 speed manual BMW. Kids call it the racecar. I gunned the tundra on the freeway. Now the kids call the truck "the racecar truck"

Bah - I sell these things in Ontario.
I may be able to help you out still however.

Would knowing the back end gross of the trim level you're after help you negotiate?

I'll shoot you my direct work line in a PM.
Call whenever you're in the market and just remind me we spoke on here. I'll give you some information that hopefully helps keep you in the Toyota family of trucks!

Welcome. They might not offer a lot of deals on Tundras but Tundras don't visit the shop as frequently and you save in the long run. Just my .02

    Welcome from Pennsylvania.

Good luck truck shopping. I have a 14' so I can't offer much advice on the 18's. I do love my 14' though.

My wife's new vehicle has TSS. I love the radar cruise control feature, BSM, all the safety features are great.

Welcome from BC. Having had a Tacoma for 6.5 years (and loved it), now in a Tundra, I’d highly reccomend it. Kids take a ton of room and all their stuff...:annoyed:
