    Welcome. The Tacoma is an awesome and very capable vehicle but it gets small real quick.

    I switched from a Tacoma to a Tundra, with towing being the main reason why. The small camper I had was within limits of the Tacoma, but it didn't handle it as well as I would have liked. The Tundra is far superior when it comes to towing. The integrated brake controller on the Tundra was much smoother than whatever one I had on the Tacoma also. Tow/haul mode keeping revs high when you need it helps also.
