How do yall fasten yours to the headliner? I know @KevinK has quite the collection and I wanna get started as I have a mere couple to place.

    Suggestions are welcome.

I haven’t done anything specifically myself but I met a guy out on the trails yesterday that had everything Velcro. It looked really good. He had dozens of patches up there.

You can get the Velcro to grab if you twist the patch a bit as you push it into the headliner. They’ll stick.

Does anyone have a recommended place to buy well made patches? I’m looking to start collecting myself.

In my attempts I have noticed that some tundra headliners are “fluffier “ than others.
I’m in the same boat as you.
I can’t get any of them to hold and they are mostly new.

I’ve actually considered taking some sand paper to my headliner to loosen things up.

The 1st Gen headliner is perfect for patches, it holds them beautifully. I forgot to check the '22 when we test drove it. That's moved into one of the top spots on my to-do list when my new truck comes in.

I’m only using the hook portion of the Velcro, I’m not using the loop and adhesive

Ah. I wondered if just the hooks would do the trick. Did the adhesive stick well to the "sub par" hooks on the patches?

I’d remove the Velcro that doesn’t stick before placing on the new stuff. Your going to want to run a few threads though it to hold it on, because heat will melt the adhesive and I’m assuming your in Texas from your screen name

I mostly use that Velcro for patches that don’t come with it
