For that price, they better damn well have their own motors!

Didn’t read every post but for 1250 I would highly recommend considering a custom retro and get exactly what you want. I have had great luck at http://kustom54lighting.com/. Dealing with the owner Pavel has been great. I even sent him my OEM lights and he did the retro on those.

I have them, and I’d go with the TRD Pro ones if I had a do over. They look great, but the output, even with LED lamps, isn’t spectacular. The lenses are also starting to discolor on the inside. I don’t know if they are peeling or what. I think a few other guys have had the same experience.

See pics. It’s not water getting in them. They look the same way dry.

Thanks. I read just about every Spyder post I could find in here the past couple of days. I like the smoked look, but it seems a lot of folks are like you and wish they had (or already have) swapped their Spyders for the 19 OEM/19 Pros. Just have to convince myself to spend the money on them instead of popping some VLEDs in my 18 OEMs and being done with it.

I put leds in my factory housings to begin with. A word of caution, they will blind the hell out of other drivers. The reflectors in them spray the light everywhere, so while it will look great to you, it causes issues for others. I was getting people flashing their lights at me constantly.
That was with my 2017 housings, not sure if the 2018 are any better about it.

Same. Mine are out on the truck for delivery today. Hope to get them installed if the rain lets up a bit.
HR gave them good reviews in the factory housing. We'll see.

Once you get them in report back, I will do the same.

You can see the light scatter in their picture on the website. That was my experience so I returned them.

I did and DARN, what a change. I had swapped the factory installed OEM bulbs for Sylvania's previously, and wasn't impressed with the change.
These Supers are awesome. Good thing the Tundra has the leveling adjustment capability.
Huge change from both OEM and Sylvania bulbs.

I'm just looking for better lighting out of stock housing and LED fogs. Did you guys happen to see these when you ordered yours? HR vs VLED? Looks like what you ordered measured higher LUX while $70 less... What am I missing?

Spoke with The Retrofit Source and the production version of these lights will absolutely have the motors. I've asked to be put on the lost to purchase them when available.
