Magic Mountain is a good one I wouldn't bother with Disneyland you will just be pissed off before you even get in the park and maybe for the beach go to Hermosa beach or manhattan beach or maybe Redondo if you want to grab some food and they have boat rides and different rentals there I know universal is having StrangerThings theme for October if your kids are into that

    1) What city will you be staying when you arrive? Plan for an hour drive to Universal. If you’re driving to SD, plan to leave around 7 PM. You can also get a discount through AAA.

    2) North SD beaches (La Jolla, Solana) are better than LA county beaches.

    3) If you end up in LA beach closer to the airport, Hermosa or Manhattan beach.

    Feel free to reach out!

Will stay close to LAX Tuesday night. Arrive at 1130 PM. Been noticing 1 hr drive times from LAX to Universal. Times on their website says they close at 6 at that time, so yes, I should be leaving to SD around 7ish.
