I might've missed it, but what map was used during the dyno test? I assume the advertised hp/tq gains were on map 7?

That's correct, our dyno runs are on map 7.

I just now saw this thread. Can anyone vouch for the product? And is there a way to still get that deal? Thank you

Hundreds of Tundras are running our TruControl, including several members on here! Hopefully someone can chime in and give you their direct experience. I'm happy to still offer you a deal, just send me a PM.

I have installed this on my 2022 Capstone and am currently testing. The added torque down low in revs makes it shift less and drive more like a diesel, you can for sure feel it. I am most interested in how it does towing as that is where I think you will notice it most. Toyota seem to program the torque output on these trucks very conservatively, especially on the hybrid. You only get the torque needed to accelerate at the rate you ask for via throttle input, its not like you have gobs of low end torque on tap at times like a supercharged engine. There is a "process" to deliver that power and for that reason I dont have concern the transmission will hold up.

The system has a max torque throughput it will allow based on sensor readings...hence the piggyback tune improvement...have you tried map 7 on 93 in tow haul?

Yes currently on Map 7, the power is there and what you notice most if lower shift point during normal acceleration due to increased torque you need less throttle input. The speed limit, tire grip, and traction control are limiting factors. I don’t see the point of doing 0-60 tests in 4WD in truck, just my opinion. I have only driven about 50 miles so far but, what I'm observing would make a substantial difference while towing.

I wouldn’t say anything, Toyota watches these pages, something that happens to your engine, even if it’s a OEM problem, they blame it on the controller.

Hello, I’m a little late to the party. I just ordered the Stillen TruControl power module for my Tundra today! I’m excited to get a little more power out of my tundra with this. Hopefully the install isn’t too difficult. I would love to hear more reviews on this from people that have been running this tuner from Stillen. I have the regular I-Force. Not the hybrid max.

Gang this is getting really old "the lets trash Stillen party" the Tru-Control is legit, works seamlessly, and priced fairly...yeah they botched the intake launch no question.
One thing is clear: none of the aftermarket intakes, charge pipes, cold air whatever's are really effective at increasing airflow. Only the TRD performance intakes throw a code due to airflow increased beyond what the stock ECU is programmed for, so all the others are just expensive noisemakers period. No aftermarket exhaust throws a code, so same conclusion.

FYI, Lots of issues with tru-control too. Thrown codes causing limp-mode, water leaks causing failed units, etc. Not wanting to warranty units. Just because you don't read about it on a forum doesn't mean there aren't issues. Not everybody shares issues. Limp mode/reduced engine power on these trucks is dangerous because it won't allow it to make boost and reduces timing. If you are towing or on the interstate, you are in trouble as you can't maintain speed and have to pull over immediately.

STILLEN IS ON THE BOYCOTT LIST for me. They still have yet to resolve the intake fiasco with many of our members

I have recently installed thr Stillen tuner/bypass. Whatever this is. I started half tank of 87 and then filled up with 93. Ran Map3 sport and gained 0.1 mpg. There is a noticeable power which I have not floored it in the few days I've had it.
I just moved to Map6 race and has a much more noticeable power. Other then the tuner, all stock. So much traffic in Dallas to even get a better feel for the power which I don't mind. It's more for to get around slow drivers
