    You do not need the 6500 then. There are several less expensive options that will get you Apple or Android compatibility or both.

    I picked up this one from Crutchfield and it's pretty close. Not the best fit ever, but not terrible either.

    I emailed Crutchfield and they told me that there are no harnesses or headunits capable of keeping the stock rear seat entertainment system. I guess it's back to continue using my phone.

    I'm sure there's nothing fully plug-and-play with that setup, but here's a harness that's listed for 07-09 Tundras and 08-09 Sequoia. You'd probably have to get a wiring diagram for your vehicle to see what the newer harnesses look like. Most of the mid-to-higher end aftermarket units should have secondary video outputs and rear zone options.

    I tried a Pioneer system that looks similar and I thought the sound quality SUCKED, which surprised me because I've always liked Pioneer. Switched to Kenwood and love it. Sound quality is exceptional.
