I am looking to find a harness adapter that will plug into where the JBL 6 CD changer was in my dash. My ride is a 2003 Tundra Limited TRD with the JBL 6 CD changer (Toyota A56834) and it has steering wheel controls for the radio.

I ordered a harness from Amazon Marketplace, from a supplier called Scosche Industries. They sent me the following...

SCOSCHE TA02BCB 1987-Up Toyota Vehicles Power/Speaker Wiring Harness, Pre-terminated with Butt Connectors

Which did not fit the vehicle harness. I was unable to speak to a rep at Scosche, but chatted with a guy from Crutchfield (another audio outfit) and they were also coming up with a harness adapter that did not resemble what I have.

Has anyone else ran into this problem or am I looking for the wrong thing?

Well, I think I may have answered my own question on You-Tube. Seems that you need to disconnect the vehicle harness from the AMPLIFIER, then the harness will work. I will check that out tomorrow and update this thread in case anyone else gets confused by this.
