I have experience with the Lomax and the Bak MX 4. I had the Lomax on 2019 Super Duty, no leaks, no drain tubes, easy to remove, due to size of Super Duty bed, it weighed about 60 lbs. The WeatherTec is made by Lomax. It does get hot to touch in the summer time.
Have the MX 4 on 2023 Platinum. It looks good on the Platinum, have only been in one rain storm so far and only water was around the tailgate. Got the MX 4 because need a cover quick and Bak could ship overnight to dealer at no cost. Both easy to install, about an hour. Good luck on your choice!

My experience with covers over the years is no matter how light or easy to remove the ultimate easiest solution is still install one you never really have to remove. For me it was the Bak Revolver. Just my 2 cents.

Sort of have to agree with this mindset. The right cover for the job first. I dont need 100% access to my bed often.
So a trifold works great. I have the lomax unit. Its rigid aluminum and works great.
Vinyl overlay covers are ok. Cheaper but I didnt like the vinyl flopping around in the wind when driving.

Other covers mentioned in this thread can give you pretty much full access to the bed with some creative flipping.
