    I haven't had this cover for too long, but I am in So Cal and just went through a week of 100+ temps without any issue. Not to say it won't become an issue in the future, but so far I haven't noticed any issue with the heat. Getting one with a warranty sounds like the safe bet though. There are also a couple plastic caps on the corners by the tailgate that apparently break easily. One of mine was broken in shipping and they sent me extras when I asked for a replacement under warranty.
