Hand Gun Storage

I attached magnets into my safe wall using Chicago screws.

 

I've got a few Glocks in the house that stay attached to magnets 24/7.
Never noticed any of them to become magnetized.

Although a little magnetism should be ok...
I discovered my EMP slide developed a magnetism while cleaning it years ago.
Had no effect on the function of the pistol..
Never did figure out how it happened.
May have had something to do with SACS plating everything in electroless nickel when I had them customize it.




As to @JeffMac XD, it has multiple safeties.
Grip safety, trigger safety, and internal striker block that only allows the striker to move forward when the trigger is pulled.
That magnet isn't going to trip them.
Although I wouldn't mount a pistol pointing at my foot, certainly breaks one of the 5 Basic Principles of Gun Safety:.
But it's not my gun or my foot, whatever works for him is cool with me.

That'll be secure as hell. No way a thief will be able to find a 10mm wrench! In all seriousness, I like the set up.
