This is the best time of year for y’all that have Infernal Orange trucks. Surely there’s a midnight get-together on Halloween night with all that pumpkin and black paint doing some cruising and general mischief.

For me, I like to just put an empty bowl out front, with a sign that says, “please just take one “
Then, turn out the lights and go to bed.

We get more trick or treaters than anyone else in town. My wife and I are quite proud of it.

It's somewhere in the 25-30 range of the gemmy fire & ice lights. The last few years you could find them everywhere, this year the only place I have seen them is at Walmart and only in the purple and red, I haven't seen the green or ultraviolent ones this year.
Here's a link to them at Walmart, mine are the older ones that were just black housing, not this new pumpkin look.

Not even sure that I'll get to decorate for Halloween this year, hurricane Laura did her best to stop me.

My kids are 17 and 20 years old so I don't do anything for Halloween any more.

Years ago when we lived in Iowa and the kids were in elementary school, there was a family down the street that set their garage up as a haunted house for the kids and they handed out candy for the kids and beer for the parents. We always made a trip by that house.

    jebus! that things awesome!

how big is the box that guy goes in? I bought a 6' T-Rex, and the setup/teardown is actually not that bad, and the box isn't too bad.
One year my inlaws gave us their Christmas reindeers, and after christmas i quickly realized.....those things are big and dont collapse at all....back to the inlaws they went.

Had to scale down some because of damage/clean up from hurricane Laura, but still found time for a little decorating.

Welp, Halloween was short lived this year, thanks Delta. Silly me thought it was spooky season, when apparently it's still hurricane season. Guess we'll see if there's anything lefft to redecorate after this one.
