New member to the forum, I have a humble 2004 V6 SR5 that has a surging issue but w/ no check engine light. I replaced a ton of stuff, mass air flow sensor, throttle body w/TPS, spark plugs, 02 sensors (both banks), no vacuum leaks that I can find. I ended up taking it in to Atkins Kroll Toyota and they couldn't figure it out either. (thought maybe I got a back Throttle Body off Ebay). Im stumped hope to get some help on here and lend it where I can. Thank you.

Hafa Adai Chelu! Left the island 20yrs ago and miss it dearly!

For your trucks issue, you think it could be radiator/coolant related, specifically a bad thermostat opening/closing/sticking? Just thinking that I recall having an issue many years ago on my hilux with surging and I changed thermostat and flushed rad and problem solved. If you’re not getting a code I don’t think it’s going to be something on the electronic side like the o2 sensors, MAF, TPS.
