4Wheel camper, airbags, rear seat delete. thass it.
This worked for me. It is the simplest workaround in my situation when I have the camper leveling blocks wedged into the back tire already and ready to move up onto them, with the other method I have to move a little bit and get a heavy clunky sound on the 2nd move of the shift lever that gives me the willies. Thanks all!

This is happened to me many times I get out of my truck I get back in quickly try to move and I'm stuck in the middle of a roadway with fast moving traffic unable to drive because the parking brake is engaged and I'm trying to get it to disengage, it's a stupid feature and it's dangerous

I don’t disagree that it’s stupid and it should be something to easily disable via a button or in the dash. But it’s seems to be more of a nuisance than dangerous. Getting out of the vehicle on a roadway with fast moving traffic I would think is an uncommon occurrence.

Whatever the reasons, we can all agree it's a PITA!! The Japanese & especially Toyota are big on ergonomics, this safety stuff is the most UN-ergonomic as you can get, causing 4 or 5 steps to do something that should take only one.

Tint and wheels. Decked box in the bed. S and B Cold Air filters under the hood. Shiftpower throttle response controller.
The auto brakes on this thing (door open), backing trailer (I know to turn it off) and the other braking absolutely scares the shit out of me. That loud ass noise, the flashing red popup on the dash and the slamming of the brakes is so unnerving.

It did it to me the other day backing out of parking place at Cirkle K. A car was passing behind me. It was 15 feet away. I let him start to pass by and as he got passed me to the side I gave it some gas to back up because he was almost gone. I could have backed straight out and not hit him but he was still visible in the backup cam and the sensors. Fricking truck started the obnoxious beeping and red light flashing and the GD slamming on the brakes. It pisses me off. But I need the sensors for tight parking places so I can't get the dealer to turn them off.
