Well, instead of building out the SAS, decided to pick one up in full Coyote pvd.
Came with an extra 12/rd clip.
It fits perfect with the 12/rd.
Have two filler inserts for the 10/rd clip on the way.
    Changing out the trigger first.
Going to try an Olgiht Baldr Mini on this one.
600 Lumens and doesn’t stick out beyond the barrel.

I just sold all of mine last week. I just felt they were too dangerous with young cats and a rambunctious dog running around my house.

    Lots of shenanigans.
Had no idea that this company still existed. I remember watching it when it first came out. Had too much drama for my taste.

I don't think it does. A guy at work was selling it and it seemed like a well built gi type mag. I flipped over to see who made it and was surprised to see it was from rjf.

That's a great question. Around here it's slim pickings though. I suggest finding a gun store with a range and rent some different handguns till you find one that you like.

Check the build link in my signature.
I’m a big fan of the Sig P320 platform for a first time buyer.
The “Fire Control Unit” (FCU - trigger group and rail internal frame) is the actual firearm, so grip, magazines, barrel, and slides are all interchangeable for different needs/styles/options. You can make it a subcompact 9 or a full size 40 with a few quick part swaps.
It has simple controls (non-safety striker fired, though manual safety options are out there too), a great trigger pull from the factory, and a growing aftermarket following.

I’m also a big proponent of a double-action only revolver in 38 SPL or 357. 5-shot options aren’t too bulky to easily hide, pack a good punch, and are dead simple to operate under stress.

As Cameron said, though, best option is to get to a range where you can rent or test out some different options.

I’ve also changed my EDC about six or more times in the past 10 years as I found something I preferred over my previous one. Currently, it’s a P365, but customized with a standard length slide and an Icarus 12-round XL grip. Gives enough weight for great handling, is a joy to shoot but not too heavy to carry deeply concealed.

thanks guys. I did try the Sig a few months back and liked the feel. But pickings do seem slim. Getting a permit during COVID has been quite the challenge to say the least. Taking forever.

I recall him going to prison as well. Then there was the American Guns show that ended around the same time, owner did not have an FFL license or something and went to prison too.

Seems no one has recommended Glock yet. Make sure you add a Gen5 19 to the test drive list. And if you want to conceal under a T-shirt, a single stack 43 is a great option.

I think of Glock as the Toyota of the gun world. They just run. And they’ll pretty much eat any ammo without complaint.

So right. As many times as a new compact 9 has been declared the Glock 19 killer every compact 9 is still compared to the Glock 19..... for good reason. Kinda like every new mid size truck being called the Tacoma killer.

this will make me sound like a Fan Boy ( Im not the Glock is the ugliest pistol I have ever owned) but the G17 or G19 are 2 of the best COMBAT pistols you can carrie. I have carried G17 gen.3 for the last 9 years in Afghanistan and it has never failed we have a few of the sig. M17 and there not even close to being as good.
The glock will never be sexy but it will go bang every time . I do love a nice 1911 custom but the last one I got was way to much
if ue not int Glock's look at the CZ
