I've been keeping my eye out for a Henry side loader for awhile. Finally found one in 45/70.

My first Glock Build. Built it up from a stripped gen 3 G17 frame that was cerakoted by a local FFL dealer. Shoots great and love it.

Groups better than I expected. One ragged 5 shot group at 100 yards. My “tack driver” is a 6.5 Creedmore that cost 1/3 of the SCAR but when the SHTF, the SCAR is going to be the one I grab first. I can consistently hit the 8in plates at 600.

This rifle belonged to my Dad. He won it in 1968 (the year I was born) on a $2 raffle ticket in Clear,AK. It’s a SAKO Finnbear chambered for 338 Win Mag. It only weighs about 7lbs so it kicks like a mule!! It has a 4 digit serial#, so I’ll never get rid of it.

That’s really good. I can shoot sub MOA on my Rem 700, but getting shy of 2 MOA on my 20s. I have only took the 20s out shooting twice. Hoping I’m just not use to shooting her. Never shot my 17s and I’ve own that thing for over half a decade.

I had a Savage 110FP in 7.62 that was a one hole rifle, but only after a lot of load development. I’ve put around 2000 rounds through the SCAR and it just keeps performing.

What caliber is your 20S? I had Krieger barreled 308 gas gun built up that was a tack driver out 1100-1200 yards, but I sold it 5-6 years ago after a auto accident laid me up for 2 years. Really thinking about getting back into them in the 308 AR frames, but the 6.5 20S has been catching my eye lately.

Maybe you just haven't found the load she's craving yet.

I haven’t gotten into the hand load game yet. My 17s and 20s are in 308. Been eyeing a 338LM, but can’t justify that caliber yet as I’m only able to reach out to 200yd.

I have a built from the ground up 10-22 that is very similar to yours. Is that a Ruger receiver or some aftermarket? Are you using the stock trigger or something else?

On the left is my Rem 700 .308 on the right is the Ruger 10/22. Both have Magpul hunter stocks, Timney Triggers, Vortex Optics, and Dead-Air suppressors.

Did you use a stock Ruger 10/22 receiver?

Mine uses the Magpul Hunter stock, Primary Arms ACSS22-LR BDR scope, KIDD Tactical receiver/charging handle/bolt carrier/trigger, and a GMB heavy barrel. I don't see a point is suppressing mine as I don't want to use subsonic ammo, so mine is just a clean heavy barrel. Do you run subsonic ammo in yours?

The 10/22 is so common that it's very underrated, but when built properly and with the right ammo can be a tack driver and extremely lethal even past 150 yards. I always get excited when I see someone with a built 10/22 because it's a great platform for a build but not something you see people doing very often.

I have a couple .308 rifles, my favorite and most accurate is a modified (legally, of course) Marlin X7VH, but it's not a rifle you want to be lugging around on a hunt with.

It's my first baitcaster - rigged up to target tiger muskies. I haven't caught one yet but plucked a few fat bass out of Blue Lake a couple weeks ago. It's a cheap bait caster but feature-rich and casts for miles. I would highly recommend it as a first bait caster.
