I did Amazon, it was $200 shipped to my door.
Optics planet has been taking forever on their shipping - FYI!

Well I got my scope rings and scope put on my 6.5 Creedmoor so I did the long drawn out barrel break in process 3 hours to shoot 50 rounds with all the cleaning. Here's the last three shot group I believe I can tighten that up just a little bit next time out. I forgot my bigger sandbag. @Boosted4runner

Hell yeah Bryan!!!! Nice shooting, and nice boom-stick!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
    That has to be .4’s!

Is this your first 6.5Creed? Pretty sweet cartridge
How’s the triggertech in the Christensen? Did you adjust down to 2’s?

Thank. I still think I could tighten that up a little bit if I have my tab gear bags to help steady it up a bit.
Yeah it my first 6.5 Creedmoor I have a 6.5 Grendel and really like it also. The trigger is pretty good I would say it's probably 2 3/4 or 3 lbs but no creep or over travel. It will take me a little while to get used to the flat blade though. Lol
I cleaned the barrel after every shot for the first 5 then every 3 shots for 5 then every 5 to 50. I was so tired of cleaning it when I was done. Lol
I bought 40 rounds of Federal 140's to help break the barrel in since they where a little cheaper. They shot pretty decent also. But my last 10 were the Hornady 143 ELD X they are great.

At least at the end of a 50 shot bolt-gun day, your shoulder should be just fine because of the 6.5creed.

Nope, I have not. I’ve tried 3 or 4 different 140ish grain factory rounds and the 143gr ELD-X’s were the best results.

If I decide to start home-rolling 6.5, I’ll be using these. Don’t think I will though. Chasing .1-.2” for my hunting setup isn’t really worth it.

From everyone I have talked to about this I have heard it's not worth it. The factory loads are so consistent/reasonably priced that you don't gain much. Now that ammo is getting scarce it may not be the worst idea if you already have components and are bored, but its definitely not needed to shoot tight groups with a 6.5. Mine shoots 140gr ELDMs .5 min all day long. I haven't tried the 147s yet.

Just finished the case for my new 6.5 Creedmoor. I cut the foam to fit the muzzle brake if I decided to run it.

About 5 years ago I built a hot wire foam cutter so I could cut it cleanly.MVIMG_20200401_091005.jpg

such a great way to keep all the foam from getting messed up. I do the same thing on all my foam inserts.

I had my M14 set up in a similar fashion, but I need to re-cut it now that I have reconfigured the rifle.

Picked up another Trijicon MRO in a LaRue mount.
I think I’m going to be swapping out the Eotechs.

I’ve always had Eotechs on the battle rifles and Trijicon accupoints for the midrange stuff. I have an old Aimpoint and a handful of the Vortex SparcAR’s for plinking toys.
After using the MRO for a bit, I like it better than the Eotechs. I can slap different mounts under them, lightweight etc.
I think I’m going to pick up an Aimpoint T1 too and try it out. For the same MRO reasons.
